Hopes and Dreams

Hopes and Dreams

Dreams and Determination

Everyone has many dreams. But only some people are able to fulfil them. Often, success comes with the support of parents, teachers, and friends. Those who achieve their dreams are determined to never give up, no matter the obstacles.

My Childhood Dreams

When I was young, I had many ambitions: to become a professor, lecturer, teacher, or engineer. I couldn’t decide what I truly wanted. Whenever I saw an engineer or professor, I thought their job looked easy, so I imagined myself in their shoes. When I saw my teachers at school, I thought, I can teach better than him.

But the truth was—I was stuck. I didn’t know what I wanted to be. For years, I couldn’t figure out where my strengths lay or which of my qualities matched my dream job.

A New Path: Businesswoman or Teacher?

As I grew older, I decided I wanted to be a businesswoman and open a primary school, with hopes of expanding it later. But financial challenges stood in my way. Again, I found myself in a dilemma.

Then I thought about becoming a teacher. Yet, learning centres required experience, and I couldn’t join a school or any centre.

The Turning Point

One day, while narrating a story to a friend, she said: “You are creating a story very wisely. You are very creative. Why don’t you start writing a storybook?”

That moment changed everything. I realized what I had been searching for was right in front of me all along.

Discovering My Hidden Talent

Sometimes, you don’t recognize your own ability—but others can see it clearly. After my friend’s encouragement, I wrote one story. A few days later, I discovered I had written thirty stories without even realizing it. I was thrilled!

Gathering all those stories together, I decided to create a book.

Becoming a Published Author

At last, I published my storybook. Today, I am proud to say—I am a published author.

My Message to You

You can fulfil your dream at any time—it doesn’t matter when. Age doesn’t matter. What matters is persistence. Look into your qualities, open your eyes, and search for opportunities. Opportunities knock at your door all the time; you just have to listen and decide what to do.
